What is Furazolidone ?

Furazolidone has a wide antibacterial spectrum of fungicides. As AN ANTI-INFECTIVE DRUG, IT IS EFFECTIVE FOR A variety OF GRAM-positive AND negative ESCHERICHIA COLI, Bacillus ANTHRACis, Bacillus PARATYphi and so on. It is used for the treatment of bacillary dysentery, enteritis, and vaginal infection. In recent years, it has been used for the treatment of typhoid fever with good efficacy. As a Chemicalbook drug and beverage additive, it has special antibacterial action against Salmonella, such as pullorum and Escherichia coli, etc., and has certain effect on protozoa (coccidiaceae, etc.), and is not easy to develop drug resistance.
