What Is Linoleic acid?
Alpha-linoleic acid is colorless to yellowish oily liquid at room temperature and is easily oxidized in air. Melting point (ºC) : -12, boiling point (ºC) : 230(2.13kPa). Linoleic acid is a fatty acid that cannot be synthesized by the human body, or the amount synthesized is far from enough to meet the needs of fatty acids, called essential fatty acids. Both linoleic acid and α-linolenic acid are essential fatty acids that are clearly defined by nutrition.
